Solving the NZ Herald crossword has become a daily ritual since the lockdown began. It’s a workout for the mind and as important, I think, as my daily exercise routine.
I came across a website that allows subscribers to build their own crossword, although it proved to be a little more challenging than I had imagined. I found it difficult to find suitably matching words that were pitched at roughly the same level of ease or difficulty. It took approximately three hours to write.
