Great Western is part of central Victorian’s Grampians wine region. Hyde Park Vineyard is 5 km southwest of Great Western on Mt. Sugarloaf Road. Some 283 acres of established vines growing in rich deep red ferrous soil laced with siltstone on an undulating topography north facing slope among granite-scattered hills and with an ample permanent supply of water. The Manager, Robin Kuchel, is a noted Viticulturist who constantly & patiently coaxes the Dalberti vines in order to provide the best results from the site each season.
